Sail Fish has the colors: blue and silver in its body; its pelvic fins is very narrow, with a upper jaw elongated in form of spear; its first dorsal is greatly enlarged in the form of a sail, with many black spots, its front squared off, highest at its midpoint;reaching almost to the anus; body covered with embedded scales, blunt at end; lateral line curved above pectoral, then straight to base of tail.
Sail Fish can be found in Manuel Antonio Beach, Jaco Beach, Puntarenas and other beaches near of them or and other fishing zones as the Atlantic Zone, North Pacific.

In the Central Pacific, Dorado has a highly prized because in the Sportfishing is very popular in this zone. Dorado can weight of 135 to 180kg (300-400lb) and it can live to temperatures of 70 to 82 Fahrenheit(21-28 Celsius. Dorado fish feeds of mullet, squid, craps, mackerels, etc.
Golden Fish or Dorado Fish has blue and green color and the main the golden, which gives the name to this fish.The fishermen difference the male of the female for its dorsal fin and its weight. The male is more heavier and larger than the female.

Tuna Fish lives to temperatures of approximately 64º to 86º Fahrenheit or 18º to 30º Celsius. The body and the head of the tuna is Conical. IT has in its body the colors: brownish blue, dark yellow and gray or whitish below.
The length of the pectoral fins in the Tuna Fish can distinguish each type of Tuna Fish, however this fish cannot be distinguished by external characteristics only for their liver characteristics.
Tuna fish is distributed in the Pacific Ocean, however in the Central Pacific in Manuel Antonio, Puntarenas Beach, Punta Leona Beach, Jaco Beach, etc which is the major concentration of Tuna fish.

In Jaco Beach on the Central Pacific you’ll find all kind of marlin fishes and other fishes in this place. In the Central Pacific the Marlin tends to congregate on the reefs, on the beach, wrecks or well they live in the water column deep down the sea. It feeds of small fish, shrimp, squid, etc.
Central Pacific has warned waters and fishing lodges where you’ll rest while you are practicing the Marlin fishing from March to mid-November. The squid is used by the fisherman to catch the small marlin and for the bigger is better use spanish sardines, mullet, sand trout, small croakers,etc.or well they can be caught with different fishing accessories.
