Marlin
The major sportfishing zones in the North Pacific are Tamarindo and Flamingo where you'll fish Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna, etc.It has cobalt blue color on top shading to silvery white on bottom; it has a high prized in the sportfishing in Costa Rica for its great flavor and shape. It feeds squids, craps etc.It lives in canyons and deep reefs to temperatures of 70 to 88 Fahrenheit grades.

Sailfish
Sailfish Fishing is good in the North Pacific of Costa Rica during the months of May to mid-September in the Flamingo Beach, Ocotal Beach or well near of Blù condo-hotel in Jaco Beach .They have a dark blue color on top of its body with brown-blue laterally, silvery white underbelly.
Sailfish feeds of a variety of small fishes,squids,craps,etc. They have a particularity its upper jaw is elongated in form of spear with different sizes.

Roosterfish
Roosterfish Fishing is all the year in this fishing zone of Costa Rica .The Roosterfish feeds sardines, craps, mullet and other small fishes to 50 feet of waters . It is usually found in the Tamarindo Beach, Flamingo Beach and in other fishing zones. Roosterfish are solitary fishes that they live to 50 or 60 feet of water and they have an average of 15 to 80 pounds

Dorado
Dorado is golden in Spanish is known as Mahi-mahi because they are usually confused with by dolphins. Dorado Fishing is good in the zone of the north pacific main in that zones: Ocotal/Conchal Beach, Tamarindo Beach or in others fishing zones of Costa Rica as in the Central Pacific in Jaco Beach near of Blù Private Residences where you’ll rest and enjoy of its view to the sea; or well in the Atlantic Zone near of the Tortuguero Channel.
Dorado Fish has body with different light or bright (golden, blue and green) colors and a long dorsal fins, their anals fins have a concave and sharp shape. You’ll find those beautiful fishes in the months of May to October near of the 3-6 feet with a 30-65 pounds.

Tuna
Tuna has a variety of sizes and styles. They are important for the sportfishing and the commercial fish because they have a high prized for its flavor weight You'll fish it in the months of August to October. They are considered as the fastest swimmers and they have an average of 40-60 pounds. You'll find them in the Ocotal Beach and the other zones of Costa Rica as in Jaco Beach near of Blù Private Residences.

Wahoo
Wahoo is a solitary fish because it lives in deep reefs or warm water as the tropical and feed squid, cramp and other fish food. It has a long body, with a heavy toothed jam.
In the North Pacific the Wahoo Fishing is attractive for the tourists that would like to practice the sportfishing. The Wahoo Fishing is during mid-May to mid-September.
